30 Weeks!

Thirty weeks already.

Last sunday marked 30 weeks pregnant.  It seemed like the first trimester was so long, not feeling the greatest, while trying to act normal before we told everyone.  The second trimester was wonderful, but flew by, as did the summer.  Now into the third trimester, i can hardly believe our little guy will be here in less than 10 weeks.  I have been meaning to update with all the iPhone pictures of my belly since the first trimester. The top photo Jas took last week, at 30 weeks.  I really love it, and him.

Jason's brother & Matt sent me a sweet little mommy-to-be gift.  So thoughtful.

20 weeks!  We found out we would be welcoming a healthy baby boy in November!  We were thrilled (and would have been either way).  We went out to dinner after and discussed baby names.  Such a memorable day.

Our first boy purchase :)

Along with some boy shopping

My brother gave us a cute little Portland onesie around the time i ordered a Oregon bib from Dig This Chick!  He will be all decked out representing his west coast uncle :)

Babysitting adventures.  Baby on the front, baby on the back.  Yes, i was very tired after :)

I bought this book and am loving all the information it has.  I think it will be a good resource during the crazy newborn days, and thereafter.

This changing table is our bedroom, as we are on different floors from the nursery.  I think having a changing station and supplies close at hand will be helpful.  Plus i love the Jenny Lind baby furniture.  I went to home goods and snagged a deal on the baskets, which i love.  And yes, i already stocked all the baskets with diapers, newborn clothes, burp cloths, blankets, hats and booties.  The tote on the right is a LL Bean tote i just ordered that will be our diaper bag :)

I love having this all set up, it's making me feel a bit less crazy.  Jas finished most of what has to be done on the nursery last weekend, so this weekend i'm hoping to paint the two sheetrock walls and set up the crib & dresser.  It's all starting to come together!  More baby updates to come about the nursery and my Vermont baby shower!

Camp

After usual Saturday morning chores, we got out the door later than expected.  Pillsbury State Park had one site left.  I said we'd take it.  Primitive sites.  A few water spigots throughout the park.  No bath houses. It was perfect.

Campsites nestled amongst three connecting ponds/lakes.  A few days without technology at our fingertips.  Early morning walk to gather water to do the dishes.  Loons keeping us awake at night.

Little buddy's first camping trip.  I'm sure he had a good time.

The candle i threw in last minute proved to be just enough light to eat by.  The campfire behind us, the moon overhead and everything i need right at this table.

Early morning coffee by the campfire accompanied by long, good conversation about life.

Nature at our fingertips.
